You can see a wind farm from a distance and it's easy to spot solar panels on a roof. These are great technologies that may come to mind first, but they aren't all that goes into energy solutions.

At NECA, we define energy solutions as energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy, integrated in a holistic way. By looking at the big picture of energy use, a NECA contractor can recommend and install the best overall solution to minimize energy use, maximize energy efficiency, and—if it makes sense for the property—create energy from solar, wind, or other renewable sources.

Most renewable energy technologies are electricity-generating equipment, so it's essential they're installed properly by people who understand electricity. NECA contractors are uniquely qualified for energy solutions work: They've had years of comprehensive training in the electrical trades and have opportunities for ongoing education on energy solutions skills and technologies.
